| The owner of the new Houston NFL team
is Bob McNair . He paid $700 million for
the 32nd frachise after being pushed
around by the league for over two years.
Commisioner Paul Tagliabue even went in
front of Houston city council and said
that if a proper stadium deal was passed,
there was no way Houston would not get
the team. But instead, they gave L.A. a
deadline and even allowed that deadline
to lapse before making McNair pay $150
million more than his nearest competitor. |
